Greenville County School Bus in an Accident

Early on Wednesday 25 March a Greenville County school bus was involved in an accident.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol the accident happened just after 6.15 a.m. at Crestwood Road near Highway 291 when a truck from the Pepsi-Cola plant on State Park Road hit the school bus. There were three students on the bus at the time. It appears that a couple arrived at the scene in another vehicle and left having taken one of the children on the bus with them.

Greenville County School District said that no one was injured but two ambulances were called to the scene but left without taking any one to hospital.

The bus was damaged and had to be towed from the scene which took over an hour causing delays to traffic in the area.

There is no information as to how the accident happened and who was at fault or whether any charges will be filed. The investigation is ongoing.
